Senior R&D Engineer – Daikin Electronic Devices Malaysia

• Served as a core R&D software engineer collaborating closely with hardware and firmware teams on multidisciplinary embedded and connected systems projects.

• Designed, developed, and delivered proof-of-concept solutions, presented to management, and successfully secured approval for adoption of new technologies.

• Developed mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web interfaces for a mini web server module, enabling monitoring and control of home security systems. Built a centralized PC monitoring application to provide system visibility and management oversight.

• Planned and managed mobile app development for BLE gateway systems, including implementation of Modbus protocol for device communication and control.

• Led development of a Wi-Fi gateway integrated with home security systems, hosted on AWS, with full backend and website integration.

• Managed and continuously improved the R&D department’s SharePoint e-document system, supporting cross-department collaboration and information management.
